I measured my head as 57cm above my ears and ordered the Medium in Nightshade and Fern. When the hats arrived they did not seat on my head properly and appeared 'perched'. I suspect this was because of my double crown. Lighthouse kindly arranged to exchange the hats for the Large size. The Large hats fit perfectly and I am delighted with them. If you have a double crown you may wish to size up. I have rated the hat as true to size, as I believe it was my head shape that caused the ill fitting.

Really good fit and very comfortable to wear. Keeps its shape really well, warm as well as waterproof and matches the coat perfectly. Very happy indeed!

This really is the best hat I've ever had. I live in the west of Scotland where it rains for most of the year( Loch Lomond takes a lot of filling) but as well as being practical its super elegant too so many thanks The new coat is in a league of its own too everything about it is perfect from being practical its so smart too and although its early in the autumn winter season its lovely and warm too. I wore it to Glasgow today and numerous people commented how smart it is I passed on where it was from
